Here is 2007 Shedule so you have an idea what Bear Boot Camp is about! Each year this Schedule changes to mix things up.

This years 2009 schedule will be email/mailed to each 2009 recruits!

2007 SCHEDULE AND TIMES:

RULES:

Ø     After midnight the Bear-rakes First floor is a QUIET sound area, and the second floor is MEDIUM sound area.

Ø      Alcohol is only permitted inside the barracks building and USO. NO open containers or drinking of the good stuff outside.

Ø      Bearrack party each night so HOST AN OPEN ROOM PARTY! Have fun and go nuts bring your own bar set up (including beverages, mixers, ice, napkins, paper cups, etc.). Do a theme or do games, whatever! Just don’t hurt anyone and NO flames/candles.

FRIDAY: Friday you need to eat dinner on the way. If you can’t stop, don’t worry, we will have sub sandwiches and more for appetizers in the USO.

4:00 PM Arrive at the 202 Bear-rakes anytime after 4 PM. Open time. Meet bears, unpack etc.

6:00 pm USO Hall meet n greet. Optional: some sub sandwiches and drinks for appetizers Movie , Bring your favorite board games , puzzles, cards, Pictionary, Twister, or whatever. We will be playing games, talking and eating appetizers before the Friday night Orientation and Basic training and Appetizers BYOB alcohol

6:30 PM to 7:30 PM Registration. Located in 202 DW lobby. Right turn at the third street after you enter Fort Worden. 7:45pm please go to the USO Hall.

8:00 PM to 9:00 PM Orientation and Basic training and Appetizers in USO HALL - ALCOHOL BYOB IS OK The Bear Den meeting room. Do not be late! We need you there or the group activity at 8:10 pm won’t work.

9:00 PM à Open Bear time at BEARRACKS. on we go back to the Bearracks for HOST AN OPEN ROOM PARTY (self hosted), board games, cards, drinks and general fun. Ideas: Bear twister, Board games, puzzles, cards, Pictionary, or walk around the park (need flashlight).

SATURDAY:

8:30 AM   Breakfast at the Dining Hall

9:30 AM to 12:00 AM    Group Gathering in USO Surprise activity! Prizes awarded.

12:00 PM Lunch at the Dining Hall

1:00 PM   Group Picture at Bearracks Meet in the 202 DW lobby at 1:25pm.

1:15 PM   Group walking tour through the dark bunkers! Bear Boot Camp favorite. Yes this is where you need your flashlights. Cameras too! We leave from the 202 DW lobby. We will walk as a group up to Artillery Hill’s first main bunkers (one hour around trip), have another quick group picture, then if anyone wants to further walk the hill (a 2 plus hour around trip) we will spilt up. Map of the Artillery Hill will be handed out after 1:00 pm Group picture.

5:00 PM   Cocktail hour. BYOB in the Bearracks downstairs meet areas

6:00 PM   Dinner: Military / camo-dress at the Dining Hall. Then walk to USO for Underbear dance.

7:00 PM   DANCE Old school rock, 70’s funk and disco with some 80-90-00 and country

ALCOHOL BYOB IS OK. WATER AND POP PROVIDED.

      NOTE: NOT naked or Jocks strap sorry. Think boxer / jockey sock hop.

SUNDAY:

9:30 AM hand in keys the 202 DW lobby

10:00 AM Big Breakfast Buffet at the Dining Hall

10:45 AM Finish packing up

11:00 AM Check out time Sunday is firm - 11am. A half-day's fee per person will be added for late check-outs. A full day fee per person will be charged after 2 p.m.
